As a professional soprano, I love to engage in projects that allow for intimacy, collaboration, and connection. I have performed on the operatic stage, at folk festivals, jazz clubs, in choir lofts, recording studios, and fringe festivals. If the project speaks to me on a musical or personal level, I'm there! Bonus points if I get to have a voice in the creative process.

Female-forward vocal theater ensemble Artemisia is a big part of my artistic identity. I co-founded the group to create genre-defying performances, compose and commission new works, and amplify women's voices. We've created everything from a music and mindfulness program for healthcare workers in collaboration with Carnegie Hall, a fully virtual songwriting curriculum, tracks for a video game, to theatrical performances featuring commissioned songs and animations. This group also allowed me the platform to compose "What Happens When a Woman" which has now been performed by hundreds of ensembles worldwide.

If you're curious about some of the finer details of what I've done and where, I do encourage you to check out my CV, but I do want to share some highlights. I made my international debut with Italy’s acclaimed early music fusion ensemble, La Chimera (Eduardo Egüez) performing the works of John Dowland. I've also gone on multiple tours with Concerts for Hope founder Eric Genuis, known for bringing music to incarcerated communities. Putting on my gamer hat, I was the soprano soloist performing I Was Born For This for Fifth House Ensemble's Journey LIVE, featuring a full, live game play through of Journey with live chamber ensemble accompanying. I was engaged to recreate of the role of Peggy in a Bach + Beethoven Experience production of Allan Ramsay’s Scottish folk opera, The Gentle Shepherd, which was last seen in North America in 1798. (Working with Scottish dialect for these scenes was a particularly rewarding challenge!)

In addition to performing, I have had successful careers in nonprofit management and web development. I currently enjoy teaching private lessons and after school programs at Musical Chairs Studio while I am completing graduate studies to become a Speech Language Pathologist.

I am a mother of two incredible little boys who have enveloped me in the joy of sidewalk chalk, picture books, fireflies, and snuggles.
